When David was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2017, I’d known only one person with that diagnosis. The Lewy Body Dementia Association and caregiver forums offered essential support and guidance, but I also sought stories of life with LBD. I’m grateful for the stories I found.

I kept journals and medical notes throughout David’s illness.  David died in August, 2022, just as I was beginning my last semester of college teaching.  Now, in the quiet of retirement, I’ve returned to the journals to create this blog.
